Yosuga no Sora (2010) is a controversial attempt at broadening people’s perspectives of taboo. While a better aesthetically pleasing slice of life, yosuga no sora will most likely not change your mind on the subjects of incest. At its worst, it meaninglessly panders to sexual promiscuity in an attempt to grab audience attention. Other times, there are effective character relationships that are storybuilding in place. Yosuga no Sora never makes its mind over its core theme, except at the end with a derailing conclusion - feeling out of place. This is due to its visual novel origins: covering an entirely different plotline each episode. The whole feels fragmented.

Please Tell Me! Galko-Chan (2016) takes place in a high school.
