6 - Yuri On Ice (2016)
Yuri On Ice (2016) is a dichotomy betweena a melodrama and a sports anime. It does both well enough, however there exists little substance to the direction to the anime other than to win the ice-skating tournament. When all is said and done, Yuri On Ice often feels very boring; it's as though not enough depth exists beyond the fantastic animation.
